Don't watch Fox very often, occasionally the roundtable and or interviews on Sunday...
I hate being told what I Need To Know by anybody lol.

It's a start, Ed. Nothing approaching what you and I would want to see could have passed the Congress... either chamber.
Social Security needed to be tweaked repeatedly to get it to where it needed to be, and for the same reason: Republican obstruction.

Yes, I know but it's really a mess and as far as I can see he did not need to make nearly as many concessions as he did as he did not need any republican votes.
If this was Cheney's baby we would have gotten what we wanted.

The fact that I'm curious is bad? OK John. Whatever.

I think many people will be happy to have their kids on an insurance plan till 26....I will if it applies to Tricare (which I do not know if it does or not). Plus many people with pre-existing conditions will too.
As far as concessions he did not need Republican votes but the Blue Dogs and Lieberman were undercutting the Dems on the more progressive aspects.

What do you think will be the result of the PPACA phasing in to its full effect between now and 2018? This of course assumes that there are no further legal or legislative challenges.
What's in it for you?

To start with the majority insured the hospitals will not bill me extra to pay for the uninsured they are compelled to serve.
Then Florence's insurance premium should come down as the insurance companies will not be able to charge women more as they do now.
How come I know most of what is in the bill and you guys don't, need remedial reading class?

Congress passed the Affordable Care Act. The Supreme Court rejected a challenge to the constitutionality of that law. I did a search of the opinion, and the term "Obamacare" did not appear once - not a single time.

What's even more curious is the Constitutionalists being so remedial in 10th grade Civics & Government. (or as they like to call it "Civvies and Gubmint"

What the hell just happened here? 50 million people will be FORCED to buy
health insurance soon? And their premium amount will be determined by
their income? I smell a communist rat nest.

Think about that. 50 million people do not have health coverage.
That should bother you.
