If the Ukrainians can sandbag the Russians enough they'll make Pootin's forces pay a lot higher price than they figured on.

Putin does remember. In making his treaty with China he is buying time. Just like Stalin thought he was with Hitler. Siberia is sparsely populated and things are just beginning to warm up.

Desert Storm was a high capital, very-high-quality forces operation. Russian ability to copy may not be as developed as Putin was lead to believe. Putin has evolved into a 'be sure to tell him what he wants to hear' sort of guy I think.

But Russia has always won with quantity. That will work as far as taking the nearby objectives. End game is going to suck for Russia though. Even if they can drive all the way to the Polish border, and that looks uncertain at this moment, they aren't going to want to prop up a puppet regime with an indefinite occupation, not of a country of Ukraine's population. Putin's going to have to settle for seizing some border territory.

On day one, when the traffic jams showed up on Google, they were sure lucky the USAF wasn't in the fight....

I wonder how Gerhard Schröder and other Kremlin apologists/enablers are now feeling about their relationship with Putin and his cronies.
Hello my friend, forgot your name - Pat?

What has happened today in the German Parliament is actually a revolution against everything Germany decided concerning foreign policy since 1945. The annual military budget is 40 billion Euros. Today Scholz announced additional 100 billion Euros for this year.

The Oligarchs are shitting their golden pants. Putin himself gets nervous and is threatening the free world with nuclear force.

This is the beginning of the end of Putin. He will end like Hitler, Mussolini, Ceausescu, Hussein, Gaddhafi and almost all other tyrants in human history. But how many people will lose their life until then?

Folks I'm feeling bad. Very bad.
