Actually dying suddenly, gunned down like a cowering dog sounds preferable to growing old and dying slowly, little by little for the last ten-fifteen years. That's what fucking sucks.

Think about it, you go out before your body turns into a pain racked, worthless burden, simply sustaining a brain that can't remember what year it is or who anyone around you is.

You get to go out suddenly, but you didn't commit the mortal sin of suicide and you didn't commit any crimes. Just an innocent victim, a face on the t.v. screen for Bible-thumpers you've never met to pray for, an excuse for liberal politicians to babble in vain about gun control, people who suddenly care after ignoring you your whole life, the poor schmuck who died with a mouth full of Goobers.
