And of course with ticket sales actually trending slightly downward, the last thing operators are going to want to do is feed an irrational fear of theaters.

Just place a glass case in every theater with a loaded, ready to fire (safety off ) 9 Mil in it with a hammer on a chain with the words "Break Glass In Case Of Bad Guy With A Gun."

The NRA would approve and a glass case does not draw pension benefits. It would have to work on the honor system. A bad guy is not allowed to break the glass of course. They sign a waiver before the movie starts.

In April 2001, the LaGrange mayor and city council voted to revoke all of Houser's alcoholic beverage pouring licenses based on five convictions of selling alcohol to minors in the span of a year from 1999 to 2000, according to a court filing. Houser appealed, but the court found the mayor and council acted correctly.

Houser flew a large Confederate flag on a flagpole outside his house for a time, said neighbor Rick Chancey, but Houser later replaced it with a smaller rebel battle flag.

Of course this would be a non paid position, but they would get to watch the movie free.

So, if a good guy in a theater happens to shoot my kid or my wife and kill them, what then? Murder one as they carried a weapon planning on using it? Let me kill one of their relatives, my choice......?
