I won't though because it's not that simple. Of course, the fact that we're no worse off than many other places in the country is worthy of consideration too.
Now, I'll get to the real point of my post. I made a good humored reply to your post about Perot, citing something you yourself had brought up only a day or so ago about the lax enforcement of voting laws in your state. I even put in a smiley as an aid to the cognitively impaired.
On the other hand, your reply lacked any pretense of good humor and introduced rather impertinent and gratuitous insults to my state. Finally, your "Pedro" comment added an element of racism into the exchange which I find offensive.

I'm going to have to look into it further but I believe that after a glance at the top to bottom states that have seen the most economic growth have predominantly Republican governors and don't bury business in taxes.
The "Pedro" comment was a comment about our health care and system and it's being overwhelmed (in bordering states) by our friends to the south among other things. Not trying to make it racial. The problem does exist and California is in the thick of it.
You can take it however you wish I guess.

Remember the movie "Napolean Dynamite" they has those "Vote for Pedro" shirts for sale afterwards, I saw the same style that said "Deport Pedro" I gotta admit it made me laugh.

if folks wanna talk immigration, lets ask the native americans.
i'll bet there are more than a few who wish their ancestors had made a few anti-immigration laws when c. columbus and everyone else who followed him, took over america.
i'll bet more than one of them, right now, wishes all us honkies and the decendants of the slaves some of our ancestors owned, would return to the countries of our forefathers, mainly in europe and africa.

Kansas City was just dubbed the best place to look for a job in America right now, and the county I live in is consistently in the top 10 places to raise a family. Our schools are second to none, and our teachers earn around 60k. Not getting rich maybe, but we have a lower cost of living than some places. Now that I think about it, I'll have to let Minnesota off the hook for Frankin. Everybody knows the prick stole the election.

I heard today that there were some "brand new" tax cut plans in the works to stimulate the job market. The specific one I heard about (on the radio) is tax cuts to small buisnesses that hire workers now. Of course that has nothing to do with the spanking in Mass.. Ronnie's gigglin in his grave while Teddy is spinning a hole to China in his.
