The interview I was going off of Eddie was Chris Mathews and argh I can't remember. I try to dig it up, it was pretty funny (but not really funny).

I agree. California's economy is the envy of most countries of the world.

How's your economic growth been in the last, 5-7 years?

Oh yeah, pay and civil servants or teachers lately?

The time frame you specified is a perfect fit so I could blame it on the Republican governor and the Republicans in the legislature who to a person refuse to vote anything but "no" on fiscal matters where our constitution requires a super-majority. That means nothing can pass.

I won't though because it's not that simple. Of course, the fact that we're no worse off than many other places in the country is worthy of consideration too.

Now, I'll get to the real point of my post. I made a good humored reply to your post about Perot, citing something you yourself had brought up only a day or so ago about the lax enforcement of voting laws in your state. I even put in a smiley as an aid to the cognitively impaired.

On the other hand, your reply lacked any pretense of good humor and introduced rather impertinent and gratuitous insults to my state. Finally, your "Pedro" comment added an element of racism into the exchange which I find offensive.

God hates California, that's why he's destroying it. The only thing I have against Minnesota is weird Al Frankin (what in the hell were they thinking?). Now, if you want to talk about God's country, let's talk Kansas. Kansas City was just dubbed the best place to look for a job in America right now, and the county I live in is consistently in the top 10 places to raise a family. Our schools are second to none, and our teachers earn around 60k. Not getting rich maybe, but we have a lower cost of living than some places. Now that I think about it, I'll have to let Minnesota off the hook for Frankin. Everybody knows the prick stole the election.

Just because someone doesn't like beaners doesn't make them a racist.
