Snowden just has a glorified image of himself, well he has had his 15 minutes. Now if we don't get him first the Chinese will just to see what they can drag out of him.

Not yet. From Wiki.

During the Obama Administration, the NSA has officially continued operating under the new FISA guidelines.[3] However, in April 2009 officials at the United States Department of Justice acknowledged that the NSA had engaged in "overcollection" of domestic communications in excess of the FISA court's authority, but claimed that the acts were unintentional and had since been rectified.

ACLU filed a lawsuit on this in 2008 and lost in the SC just this year.
So let's wait for the outcome from this recent lawsuit.
A person in this country is a criminal only when convicted of a crime. From what we know, no person from NSA has been convicted of a crime yet unless Snowden volunteers.

Blow him up with a drone and be done with it.

Nothing is going to change, some of us will be uptight for a while but nothing is actually going to change. More vote posturing IMO.

Yeah, I get that. However, I think the whole process needs to be examined. There's a lack of accountability, a lack of responsibility, and way too much opportunity for mischief-making throughout the process. I also strongly suspect that the FISA courts are nothing more than a rubber stamp operation for the Justice Department.

Also, try telling a cop that you were "unintentionally" exceeding the speed limit by 100 mph and see whether or not the cop, or the traffic court, happily excuses your ticket. To suggest that "the acts were unintentional" to me is BS. At some point, and individual of average intelligence understands that what they are doing is just plain wrong.

While I agree with you, I believe that Section 215 of the FISA Act is so broad/loose that as long as the (rubber stamp) FISA court plays along, you're covered. Even if they go outside the bounds, there are plenty in Congress and the administration to provide cover.

They're probably waiting for the Zimmerman trial to heat up as the media is only able to cover one thing at a time and the Zimmerman trial is easier to them to cover and the public to understand.

Only country he will be safe in is the US, odd as it seems.
He can then extend his fame for fifteen days granting interviews before he is locked up and forgotten. Hope the bastard wises up and not leak any national security secrets and endanger lives. If he does that, he will need more than a spare pair of eyes.
