The way I read it, Trump's numbers went from an RCP average -2.8% before the convention to an RCP average of +1.1% after, a total swing of 3.9%. This, in my opinion, is despite the convention, not because of it. That was as unbounceworthy a convention as we've had since 1968. I think Trump got bupkis out of his convention. His increase is organic and will persist.
