It is not a matter of loyalty but a matter of what is best for America at this time. I don't think you are as familiar as I am with American history but Americans generally elect Presidents that have a broad consensus among most aspects of our society, regardless of party affiliation. Now that was not true with Abraham Lincoln but post Civil War America both parties have nominated people that are palatable to most Americans at a given point.
This includes Nixon, although it may not seem apparent. Clinton, Obama, Eisenhower and Reagan are excellent examples of consensus Presidents.

Believe it or not Clinton is the consensus choice among Democrats, and Trump is among the Republicans that still exist as a party. In November ALL Americans will chose the consensus President. My money is on Hillary because Trump is not a consensus candidate nearly as much as Hillary. Not even close. That is obvious.

I don't why you hate Hillary so much. But the base of the Democratic Party chose her in the primaries just like the GOP base chose Trump. That is how our system works. If most Democrats REALLY had wanted Bernie he would have won, all your constant whining about a "RIGGED" system not withstanding.

Our system is still pretty damn awesome compared to what goes around the world. I would never call our system rigged like I would never call a person a thief until I actually could prove they stole something.

Thank you very much Robbin for responding. I am off to greener pastures.
Again for the record I do not hate Hillary at all, simply not a very good choice for POTUS.

You may think Hillary is not a consensus candidate. But deep down in the souls of most Republicans that care about foreign policy they know she is better. And deep in the souls of most Republicans (or former ones like Finnbow) they might not like her one bit, but they know she is better than Trump.

Request denied. I'm a sarcastic sumbitch, deal with it.

The word was deify, as in lifting up St.Bernie to full blown infallibility status.

No, you didn't hurt mine. That would require that I take you seriously.

That's why I never tell anyone that I'm an atheist.

Ooops

This Hillary is a cheat and a liar was all started years ago by William Safire in an article. Later all his claims were proven false and though he had said he would eat crow if he was proven wrong he never did, but then he was who he was so what could we expect.

Remember Whell's The Romney Surge poll from 2012? We all know how that turned out.

Whell just double-jinxed himself into another Dem victory!
