Police recovered a flak jacket with steel plates lying beside the gunman's rifle that held five magazines of ammunition, authorities said Friday. Federal officials confirmed that he was armed with a variation of an AR-15, but he used a single handgun.

Multiple law enforcement sources told NBC News that four weapons were recovered from the scene in Roseburg, in the southwest corner of the state about 60 miles south of Eugene — three handguns and a long gun similar to an AR-style rifle. Investigators also found several magazines for 5.56mm ammunition and a ballistics vest, one of the sources said.

Police said the 26-year-old shooter is dead and there is no longer a threat. It’s not yet known if the gunman was a student or was affiliated with the southern Oregon school. He was armed with four guns, three handguns and an AR-15-style long gun, according to CNN.

In fact the video and statments from a girl that was there and wounded says otherwise.......



Before going into spinal surgery, Anastasia Boylan told her father and brother the gunman entered her classroom firing. The professor in the classroom was shot point blank. Others were hit, she told her family.

Everyone in the classroom dropped to the ground.

The gunman, while reloading his handgun, ordered the students to stand up if they were Christians, Boylan told her family.

"And they would stand up and he said, 'Good, because you're a Christian, you're going to see God in just about one second,'" Boylan's father, Stacy, told CNN, relaying her account.

"And then he shot and killed them."


It's a shame that the left in a desperate move, is making up stories that fit their agenda. They wanted this to be a shooter going in blazing a AR15 with 30 round clips as if warfair equipment was used.

Sorry it was just a semi auto pistol with 10 round clips.
