Well, that's pretty fucking disingenuous, Ike. Every time anyone here questions any action on the part of Israel, you accuse them of being anti-Semitic. Maybe you haven't actually made such a blanket and pre-emptive statement (or maybe you have) but, given the corpus of your posting here, it's hardly necessary.

I believe that for the most part, most people on this planet who know what a Jew is, have at least some anti-Semitic attitudes. It's just the way it is. You really think that during WWII that Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, Lithuanians, Latvians, etc blamed the Germans as much as they blamed European Jews? If not for Jews, the nazis wouldn't be perping on the rest of Europe.

This is utter nonsense. So, when the Nazis invaded Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, France, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and others I've doubtless omitted, they did so because there were Jews there? And the people of all those countries welcomed the Nazis..... Nazis, not "Germans"..... because finally someone was going to do something about the Jews?

Right...all those Poles standing by the side of the rail lines giving the Jews in the cattle cars the cutthroat sign...they weren't anti-Semitic. All those Ukrainian camp guards who were at least as vicious and murderous as the nazi guards. Ukrainian Nationalists who continued to round up and murder Jews well into 1945. Nah...they weren't anti-Semitic.

Most of the people in occupied Europe were just keeping their heads down, trying to stay alive. The fate of the Jews (or any of their other neighbors) was secondary to their own. Nobody is saying that anti-Semitism doesn't exist but it isn't the guiding principle of the non-Jewish people of the world as you seem to believe.

What humans need more than anything is a scapegoat to blame for their miserable fucked-up lives. Time and history has taught us, that the most convenient scapegoat in the history of this planet is the Jew.

Interestingly, though anti-Semitism definitely still exists, it's "socially unacceptable" in modern society. We've seen where it leads and we don't want to go there again. Perhaps in another 70 years the same will be said about Islamophobia.
