Please, tell me just how things are supposed to be so wonderful and utopian under Tea Party tenets? I really want to know just what will be so great about a country where no one gives a shit about anyone else and the wealthy and powerful have free reign to ride us as hard as they like and demand whatever they want from us? Leave us to drop dead if we don't deliver?
To be fair, I do think you have a nice vision of your American Xanadu........I just don't think you realize that that is not where you are taking us. If you take power from elected government and hand it to the private sector, you are handing it to people NO ONE ever voted for. This is NOT freedom or democracy. It is something far different, and far less desirable, IMHO.

Pretty soon the Tea Party will try to pass a constitutional amendment reverting to voting only by the landed gentry. That'll solve a lot of problems in trying to convert our republic to a plutocracy.
