Odd how the job, the process, the context always seems to decree that the cops must do nasty shit. And it's all the fault of the non-cops, who FORCE the cops to do what they do.

Are you the slightest bit aware how much you sound like a male who creates a violent, abusive domestic relationship with a woman? They also are obsessed with 'controlling the situation,' and always go on about how the woman 'forced' them to punish her in whatever sadistic way they come up with....

You're right. I'm 'out of my element.' I just think people in the 'element' you describe don't belong on the street with a badge and a gun.
