Sadly, there are plenty of opportunities for ex cops where they can "apply their particular skill set".

Blackwater and such. I could see Zeke working as an operative for Blackwater, eh? Look...if you entitled Palestinians with Kalashnikov's are out in the street you're guilty of something and subject to street justice. Oh wait, I forgot...the Mulsims are blameless. Could be an unfulfilling job for the Zekester.

Here is an interesting interactive poll on whether cops should wear body cameras. It will be very interesting in three months, when more input has been gathered, to see how things fall. Here is a link to the national map and survey..

I heard on NPR a month or so ago that reports from forces using cameras have far lower instances of both reported police abuse and resisting arrest.

It is a heck of a lot better tool than a gun. Cameras keep both perps and cops honest, and there are a lot fewer liberties taken by both parties when both parties are on candid camera.

The next step after wiring the police will be to wire the crime ridden neighborhoods.

This has been the case out here. The police officers are very happy with the cameras.

The good cops are happy with the cameras. The bad cops, not so much.

Not since you started using the cameras, anyhow.
Question;
Just out of curiosity; Was Sheriff Joe in favor of the cameras?
