If provocation is free speech, is retaliation "free speech"?

Interesting question;

Ones "Here it is!" to the others "Bring it!".............

Right and wrong are not exactly defined by legal and not legal. If a right is used to do a wrong thing, it's a wrong thing. It's true that Muslims have no legal right here to kill 'blasphemers.' It's unarguably legal to kill gunmen who are attacking with that purpose. But if you set the whole thing up with malice aforethought, you have committed legal murder.

Don't forget "willful and wanton".

Of course it is and how these may be staged is a scary thought. There is never a shortage of extremists devoid of logic and reasoning. Good line BTW.

Question: Would flying the ISIS flag on private property be considered illegal since they are an FTO?

Doesn't matter who you are. Flying a flag, by itself, is speech, and basically constitutionally legal.

Do it in Texas, where shooting burglars and such is legal, with the idea of getting to blow away some redneck idiot, and you can do legal murder too.

As long as you retaliate with your words, then yes.
