Wow.. the big bad criminal who was walking in the street all of a sudden is running rampant through the community threatening bodily harm to those in his path?

Sounds a little like projecting ones desires onto another person.

And who assaulted first? The officer did, when the officer grabbed his arm (or neck depending on which story you read) and tried to pull him into the cruiser.

Another issue I supposed where police officers feel entitled to assault anyone they please who happens to be in their way.

So, he was resisting being detained/arrested. Gives even more credence to the use of deadly force.

If by "assault" you mean appropriately ask someone to get out of public roadways so that an officer -- or any other citizen -- can get through in their car...

Requesting that someone follow the law isn't picking a fight and escalation was done by the kid who assaulted him via resisting.
