Nah mate, Dems are more in favor of fixing the immigration problem. We don't see immigrants as invaders. Immigrants ( there is a difference between legal immigrants and illegals) are a key workforce in doing the jobs Whites don't want.

Increased, yes but why?
The US flag has become synonymous with Trumpism, a sign of fake patriotism.

You really have a habit a being wrong. Educate yourself: https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/ar...divide/671639/
Hell, your Dear Leader, born and raised in NYC, came out four-square in favor of the Confederate battle flag and Mitch McConnell, from a non-Confederate state, famously posed in front of the Confederate battle flag.

Which is why I, as retired military, don't put one out anymore. Trump is a despicable traitorous opportunist demagogue who shamed the country with his presence.
Christian white supremacist nationalists disagree, obviously.

Sorry, but I see Michigan every day with my own eyes. If you want to rely on a Washington DC mag to tell you what's going on in MI, that's your problem.

So, when my next-door neighbor, whose been a union guy and auto worker for most of his life, and has Dem candidate election signage on his front lawn, hangs his flag out on Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day, he's a fake patriot and Trumpist? Please explain to me how that works.

I know a few non-whack-job-leftist Democrats who would disagree as well.
Trump is no longer in office and he's not on the ballot. Here in MI, a not-quite-blue state with two Dem Senators and a Dem governor, his support has fallen far since 2016. Its not that different in many other blue and sorta blue states, and even some red states.
But Trump has you so traumatized that two years hence from his exit from office you still won't put the flag out on Memorial Day? As if Memorial Day or Labor Day or July 4th, or Veterans Day is about Trump?
Sheesh!

It's shit like this that makes people feel that Trump and his MAGA fans have desecrated the flag with their proto-fascism disguised as patriotism as they wear American flag garb while worshipping a guy who tried to overthrow the US government.

Because of this shift, CA has been building a house on sand with their budget. Undocumented workers contribute an estimated $3.7 Billion to the state's coffers. That's an amount that has doubled over the past several years. With 1 in 16 workers in CA being undocumented, it would likely be significant harm to California's economy if there was proactive enforcement of immigration laws.
If you're in favor of enforcing immigration law in CA, probably best not to expend energy complaining when you know it will fall on deaf ears.

Awww, you're muy precious, Mike. Thanks for making my point.
Yes, almost thirty years ago when Prop. 187 was floated by Republicans this beautiful state went Democratic with a vengeance. We'd had enough of your party's racist shit.

Sorry to confuse you with the facts. I too know what I see traveling the backroads of Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and southern Indiana. Confederate flags are common in all of these non-Confederate states.
