That hardly answers the criticism of your claim that 'moral high ground' is invalid. Situational awareness is just data. Decisions must be made based on values, 'morals,' one might say.

Like: data is 'if I do X, I'll make $10, and innocent Fred will die a painful death.' Values: 'that would be a bad thing to do.'

While I've appreciated the critisism of my common good/common man take, I've not claimed the moral high ground is invalid.

Situational awareness is what our mind does with the data our senses are providing so that tiger over there doesn't make us his next meal or three.

OK. Sounds like your 'situational awareness' combines real-time data about the situation (there's a tiger right over there), prior knowledge (tigers are super-dangerous giant cats that eat people), and values (I am strongly in favor of self-preservation). With this understanding, I can say I see situational awareness as a great guide to conduct.

Ah, so the problem isn't with the moral high ground per se, it's what you see as my spurious claims to it. This hints at a values conflict, you think I Have some wrong ones perhaps? I wish you'd be more specific.

In my example, survival is DNA thing, so basically valueless morally. Although if we truly eliminate god, would DNA be worshiped due to the god gene?

Not aware of the problem. Haven't claimed your claim is spurious. Values conflict is a personal issue and no need to share on my account.

??? OK, some claims to the moral high ground are OK, but you don't like what you say are mine. Why not?

Ok, in my understanding, values are objectives, goals, rules, preferences, etc that guide decision-making. They may come from DNA, or may not. If they guide decisions, they are still values. Morals are kind of a vague subset of 'important highly-authoritative' values, often claimed to be from god or something.

Not sure what your not understanding. You made a false statement that I claimed your claim to the high ground was spurious (#664}. In the second paragraph of #665 I replied that I didn't post your claim is spurious. And now you are claiming that I "don't like what you say are mine." (#666) What moral values of yours don't I like?

Also, still not know what the problem is (#664). Asked for clarification is #665. Resubmitting request.

Do you deny you were razzing me for claims to the 'moral high ground,' and my claiming 'moral superiority, and like that?

The anti-masking dumb-dumbs are cheering like they're responsible for mask mandates are being dropped. Listen up dumbasses, the numbers are going down because most of us haven't acted like spoiled brats and have been following recommendations.

I am not teasing you. Nor am I lighting gas candles for you.

I do enjoy your judging my morals though.
