I like your Benito/Donald rhyme.

Hitler came to power in March 1933. The Final Solution wasn't conceived and enacted until January 1942. In other words, it took 9 years for Hitler to go from seizing power to implementing the Final Solution. Many distinguished scholars and intellectuals who have studied authoritarian regimes (e.g., Ruth Ben-Ghiat, Madeline Albright, Anne Applebaum) fear a further descent into authoritarianism if Trump were to win another term as President. It's naive and dangerous to think that "it can't happen here." Hell, we have hero worship of a teenager who cross state lines to shoot up a demonstration against police abuse of authority (this very abuse of authority is championed by Trump and his ilk).

As for Hitler vs Mussolini's respective ideologies, Hitler took much of his inspiration from Mussolini. Nazism is simply a furtherance of Mussolini's Fascist ideology enabled by a nation with greater industrial, scientific and military capacity.

History shows it happened rather quickly after they gained control.

Started with political parties other then Nazi, intellectuals .....to Jews.

In the beginning, Hitler and the NSDAP used violence against any and all adversaries or perceived threats to their dominance, including those within the party (the Night of the Long Knives).

The use or threat of violence against perceived adversaries has also now become a hallmark of Trump's GOP.

Just sso you know, America isn't the only home of Covidiots.

These Fools Thought a COVID Party Sounded Fun.
Quote:
One partygoer who ended up in the hospital told the Veneto Corriere newspaper that he regretted it, but still isn’t sure he believes he had COVID. “It was a serious mistake,” he told the paper, adding that he feels sure he only had pneumonia and that the doctors told him it was COVID to make him change his mind. “It’s only propaganda.”
Seems death is the only thing that will convince some people.

I know Hitler's story and have seen the pictures. Being from virtual Missouri, I believe half of what I see and none of what I hear. Regarding Trump being another Hitler, all you've come up with are rhymes without reason or pictures.

The Kool-Aid you're drinking is a consumer product. As are our politicians ... Before drinking the Kool-Aid I read the label first. Turns out your Trump/Hiltler brand is manufactured by an affiliate of American Fascism.

I have no idea what you trying to say here. It sounds cute, I suppose, but is completely nonsensical. That said, you seem to be splitting hairs as to whether Trump and his actions more closely resemble Mussolini or Hitler as if Fascism/authoritarianism without genocide is actually OK. Need I remind you that even if Mussolini is a more apt comparison, this isn't exactly an exoneration of Trump and his authoritarian tendencies/wishes/actions?

Even a objective observer being fair and allowing for the willful ignorance of facts see this for what t is..
They who are in denial of the so far unsuccessful first attempted coup d'etat as fact on the outside. Must not so secretly support the overthrow of the government by any and all means to gain complete control.

For it must be so. They support the traitors and terrorists whole heartily.

Coming from the king of the DD, a compliment indeed.
