Except Jordan raised the point that Fauci has spoken his mind about policy before (like recommending states to quarantine) yet, Fauci refuses to speak to this specific issue.

I think Trump distancing himself from Fauci has made Fauci more aware of the politics surrounding what he says. Instead of answering many questions this time like he did at the hearing many months back, he deferred them to the experts on the panel.

Never considered the thought that protestors are leaving federal buildings alone now so the executive doesn't have a reason to impose martial law on the city? Because the federal agents installed barriers to keep protestors away? Because the media lost interest in covering it? The feds came in, did their job, organized an exit strategy with the local enforcement, and left. What exactly is wrong with that? It's a happy ending for everyone.
