Since about late April, I've seen this virus that way. It turned out to be not nearly as deadly as they thought it would be. And even then it's mostly deadly to those that are either very old (end of life already) or very ill with something else.

I did a serious paradigm shift at that point. I started reading all news stories from a different perspective. It is not the virus that is killing us, but our response. And that includes the protests, riots, etc. It's all about couping up urbanites for months on end. It never goes well.

And for middle aged and younger people that are in reasonable health, this thing really is like a cold or flu.
