From the article:
Burlington Electric said in a statement that the company detected a malware code used in the Grizzly Steppe operation in a laptop that was not connected to the organization’s grid systems. The firm said it took immediate action to isolate the laptop and alert federal authorities.
Friday night, Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin (D) called on federal officials “to conduct a full and complete investigation of this incident and undertake remedies to ensure that this never happens again.”
“Vermonters and all Americans should be both alarmed and outraged that one of the world’s leading thugs, Vladimir Putin, has been attempting to hack our electric grid, which we rely upon to support our quality-of-life, economy, health, and safety,” Shumlin said in a statement. “This episode should highlight the urgent need for our federal government to vigorously pursue and put an end to this sort of Russian meddling.”
Anything non-truthful there? After futilely searching for anything untruthful in the above excerpt, point me to what is untruthful in this FBI report on Russian hacking efforts, tovarich.

It seems you and Trump don't believe anything the intelligence agencies say, but do believe in the findings of non-existent Trump investigators in Hawaii who discovered Obama was born in Kenya. Does it hurt your head to carry water for Trump and his profound stupidity?
Meanwhile, your fearless leader said “I know a lot about hacking and... I know things that other people don't know." This is the same guy who knows more about ISIS than the generals.

There was no Gulf of Tonkin incident.
There were no Weapons of Mass Destruction.
And there is no Russian Hacking.
This is just one more of a long string of lies by the United States Government in order to create "Enemies" so that an excuse can be had to feed the insatiable appetite of the Military Industrial Complex.

You just keep flailing away Finn. You might hit something eventually.
Meanwhile you continue to make an ass of yourself as a spear catcher for the Dems, and apparently the NY Times and WaPo.
You can pull all the random quotes you want from the REVISED version of the story. But while you're doing that, don't forget to read the editors note at the top of the article:
Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that Russian hackers had penetrated the U.S. electric grid. Authorities say there is no indication of that so far. The computer at Burlington Electric that was hacked was not attached to the grid.
Even Wapo admits they screwed up the reporting on this. Maybe you haven't gotten the memo from Bezos yet?

So we have continued hostile Russian cyber action, they successfully hacked a computer at Burlington Electric. But it was not as dangerous a success as initially reported, the hacked system was not 'on the grid.'
Whell says this means the reporting is WRONG WRONG WRONG, DISREGARD THE WRONG MAINSTREAM PRESS!!!
I say it means LOOK, THE RELIABLE MAINSTREAM PRESS CORRECTS THE STORY AS NECESSARY.
Also, it means we should be happy that the grid was not penetrated after all.
And, it still means the Russians are hacking away. Don't forget that.

You go Don!
And while you're spear catching for WaPo, just a little reminder that we're not talking about WaPo making a typo, misspelling a name, or getting the name of the power company wrong. This wasn't a minor error; This wasn't a reporter accidentally sneaking a minor factual issue past the editors.
The original story reported that Russian hackers had penetrated the U.S. electric grid. Do you have any ideas how many eyes usually have to be on a story that major before it gets published? There used to be a standard in the print and broadcast media of confirming sources and cross checking facts. This is a MAJOR screw up. One really has to wonder about the state of affairs in the editors offices of the major daily news papers to let a story of that magnitude and that factually wrong to get published.

The actual news is still that the Russians are hacking away.

Funny, I don't hear you bitching and moaning about fake news being reported on Fox News, Breitbart and InfoWars, the favorite (fake) news sources of der Trumpenfuhrer (you'd have hundreds of opportunities). Unlike these "news" sources, real news sources like the Post correct their errors. It's a lot easier for me to defend the Post than it is for you to defend the truth-averse, narcissistic, vain-glorious manchild who has you in his thrall and who slings fake news regularly via Twitter.

There is no proof that in this case Russians are hacking. And BTW the malware is Ukrainian. An old one.

You've got that more than covered.
Funny that you defend WaPo and others. Meanwhile there's little disagreement that the mainstream press was in the tank for the Dems for years - even members of the press admit it - and you, and non-Democrat (cough, cough) and you get all worked up about so - called fake news. Maybe you're concerned about the lefty media losing their monopoly on fake news?

Yeah, why should the left wing media have a monopoly on the bullshit market? The right has plenty of bullshit to spread too! It just isn't fair!
You and TJ, sittin' in a tree..........
How does it feel to side with a guy who has Che Guevara in his profile pic, proudly proclaims he's a "Hardcore Commie" and thinks the notion that life in the USSR sucked was a big lie?
