If you read the article, it doesn't say that they would be complicit. It said that it would be they that did it (as it would have to be with their House majority). Hell, Democrats may stand in the way just to make you guys live with the Frankenstein's monster you created (and thereby get crushed in 4 years).

The LGBTQ hating RW evangelistas would love a President Pence.

But a Pence presidency is a scary thought, too.
Praying for a successful and speedy impeachment proceeding...

Is Pence as scary as Trump? I do not think so. This planet, this beautiful blue marble survived a couple of super assholes like Bush jr., Reagan et al and could most likely also survive Pence, but Trump???

Trump is the dog that caught the car, Pence is the psycho that knows how to work it.

It would have to be something that would be acceptable to people like McCain, Graham, Flake, etc along with the majority of House members. Something like extreme incompetence with regard to Europe or outright collaboration with Putin against Merkel and NATO could cause real trouble. This is why no one in establishment foreign affairs or at the Pentagon wants him around.

Hillary is about 2 million votes over Trump. Trump does not have a mandate.
And his pledge to deport 3 million people that will be revealed tonight on 60 minutes shows idiocy in the wake of these protests. This morning on NBC Conway was using terms like "mandate" and "Trump World", "Clinton World" showing that those close to Trump are not realizing millions of Americans think they are not legitimate. Trump needs to flush Bannon down the toilet and make some sort of gesture before it's too late for him to be seen like everyone's President.

I also think the predator tag will be hard to dismiss as time goes on.

This guy ain't Nixon. Nixon was smart, ran California, was a self-made man who made it out of Whittier by his own bootstraps. I know you older guys might cringe but I would kill for Nixon right now.

One of the most memorable words from his presidency that I recall.

That was from his failed campaign in 1962 against Pat Brown for the governorship of California. Too bad he wasn't a man of his word. He added a huge number of names to that black granite wall in DC, after running on an anti-war platform.
