Instead, the campaign, which had become concerned about its deficit with white men, focused on Mr. Kaine and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, and looked more closely at Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado.

Asked whether Mr. Kaine was boring, Mrs. Clinton said, “I love that about him.”

I'm OK with that. After the GOP convention, it's nice to see a white American politician who isn't a racist, xenophobe or misogynist (and proud of it).

I amazed that you would take anything Mike posts at face value.
I rarely read whell's links any more. Did you read my links?

If it weren't for a very low bar, the GOP would have no bar at all.

Pfffft. Hillary already has 85% of the Bernie vote and she'll probably get another 10% after the Democratic convention leaving 5% of the diehards who were always going to vote for Stein.

If Jill Stein and her merry band of beautiful losers gets over 2%, I'll be surprised.

Your numbers are old. They don't reflect her selection of Kaine. Wait and see.

Forget Stein. Hers is a vanity candidacy. Gary Anderson, on the other hand, looks to be in line for the Koch donor Group's $889 million. That could change everything.

I agree that we need to wait and see. But I predict the result will be far greater unity for the Dems than for the Trumpinistas. A few more fascist rants from Trump should seal the deal.

So, Johnson will suck disaffected Republican voters away from Trump. Sounds good to me.

FWIW, I don't see the Berners going to the Libertarians other than a inconsequential number of Bernie Bros.
