I've read all the pros and cons, John. Kaine is a solid choice.

Kaine is rock solid. He's been a very good mayor, Governor and Senator. A smart, likeable, hard-working guy. He's easily the best of four people running from both parties, by a very wide margin.

Sounds like Kaine would've been a moderate Republican back in the day.

His big-hearted Jesuit persona doesn't fit well with the cold-hearted greed and indifference displayed by the GOP in the past several decades.

Most Americans probably don't even know what TTP is and the idea that issue is going to cause millions of Americans to drop their common sense and vote for Trump does not seem to be valid to me. We have a world economy that we have to integrate into not away from. Trying to go back to a pre-NAFTA America is like un-installing Windows 10 and replacing it with Windows 95. Plus the information revolution probably had has much to do with creating the world economy than the trade agreements.
You have just said precisely nothing.

If you like corporatists who come down on the left-hand side of the big social wedge issues.

I'm telling you, Bob, Hillary just cost herself the millennial vote and probably those of the Left too.

John the quote about banking reforms in Mike's OP was bulllshit. Kaine wants the regulations, such as some daily reporting, relaxed for SMALL banks, not Goldman Sachs et al. It was not small banks that tanked the economy and I agree with Kaine on that. I closed our account with Bank America after Florence died and I had to take over all the finances. Our account is now with a local bank,Sandy Spring and I could not get better treatment at significantly lower fees, significantly.

I amazed that you would take anything Mike posts at face value.

Larry Sabato, guru of both American and Virginia politics, is very favorably impressed with Kaine.
