Imagine how classy I'd be if I went to a funeral for 5 cops who died protecting the rights of people who don't like them, and then proceeded to critique their profession rather than keep my yapper shut for one damn day out of respect for public servants who've never been accused of untoward behavior in their careers. Then I'd be special classy.

That's some filter you have, Was. I listened to the same speech and the Prez was fairly effusive in his praise for law enforcement folk and he was chiding BLM for some of the stuff coming from their mouths.

He's got the bully pulpit. He could have said all that crap yesterday, or tomorrow. It's a fucking memorial service.
Everyone wanted to claim these killings had nothing to do with BLM. Well, you use the memorial service as a venue to discuss the subject rather than honor the victims, and now you own those deaths.
