When I carry I use a little nylon pocket holster made especially for it. I haven't had a problem with the hammer snagging on my pocket lining.

Looks like a smaller version of my postal inspector Speed Six house gun.
My usual carry is a NAA mini 5 shot .22 revolver. I'm still looking for a suitable pocket holster that protects the hammer from moving without snagging it during withdrawal.
