We spent tons of money to destabilize the neighborhood. Trump is saying we should leave that to the Germans/British/French.
Putin is a great Russian. He knew and understood the new world order clique - the George Soros IMF tandem.
He saw them in action during and prior to the Yeltsin years when the clique captured the heights of the economy for pennies.
Once in power he effectively thwarted the clique. Some had to flee (London, New York, Tel aviv). Those who stayed had to pay taxes and give back some of the most outrageous acquired assets.
The clique is doing the same shit on the Russian periphery - getting assets cheaply, removing subsidies, bringing in the IMF leaving a recurrent mountain of debt on the citizens, only this time it is floating an escape valve...Schengen visas.
The above would be tolerable if the clique did not add NATO to the mix.
Russia is reacting to situations manipulated on its borders by powerful British and US friends of the clique.
Putin is a great Russian for solidifying his country after the shambles of the Yeltsin years. He made one error in not listening to Medvedev earlier on fool's gold nature of oil, but probably he needed to spend some money revamping and upgrading the military following its poor showing in Georgia.
The sanctions has given Russia a chance to be become self reliant. The reports on the agricultural sector is hopeful.
A huge country with 9 time zones should be able to withstand any sanction and such a country needs a strong leader to thwart, dismantle
colored revolutions.
