I heard on the radio a short while ago that Pres. Obama declined to throw the opening pitch at the exhibition game in Cuba today.

I though Ronnie just palled around with Saddam.... even providing him with the chemical weapons he used for genocide...which he supported.

Constructive engagement refers to the program of maintaining normal relations with apartheid South Africa and guiding them toward the creation of an inclusive society. This was seen as an alternative to imposing sanctions.
