Heh, this is completely on Snyder and his flunky emergency managers, Mike.
Snyder is already lawyering up at the taxpayers expense. So much for Republicans being the party of fiscal and personal responsibility.

Same old story. Look up Times Beach, Mo. when the head of the EPA resigned after covering up a huge dioxin mess for two years while poor people lived in it.
Instead of the oversight and protection we are told these gov agencies will provide, we just get another inept and/or corrupt behemoth helping to hide the sins. All the while sucking down our tax dollars at a staggering rate.

Obviously deficient oversight and accountability, not how it should work.

I understand that is the outcome that you want, but the investigation is still on going, and all the facts are not yet known.

I hope they run his sorry ass out of Lansing tied onto a steel rail and then drop kick him into the state pen for 10 years. That's the outcome I would like to see.

This is yet another example of why the rightwing government model of 'run it like a business' is wrongheaded. It fails spectacularly every time - see Kansas.

The difference is you can't just throw your hands up, declare bankruptcy and fly off to the Caymans for Mai Tais when it's a whole city full of people being poisoned by a stupid business decision your governor's whiz kids dreamt up.

Snyder needs to release the rainy day fund, roll up his sleeves and fix this.

Bullshyte. This is nothing like Times Beach, Mo.

...and that's been obvious since day one, from most of the folks on the left, long before any of the facts were in.
