Thank God our water comes from 300 feet down under our front lawn. The only thing I have to do to it is run an acid neutralizer thanks to all the coal fired power plants upwind in Ohio.

EPA head Gina McCarthy takes it to Gov. Snyder. I've seen this tough lady on Bill Maher and elsewhere and I wouldn't like to be on her bad side.

A bit off topic but, when I see mention of figures like $384 billion over the next 15 years to fix our water infrastructure, all I can think of is that it amounts to less than a year in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush years.

Unfortunately for the american people, guns and W'sMD will always be more important than our infrastructure or taking care of our own.

We are a society of fear. We fear everything. In fact despite all our bullshit bravado, I would say we're the most cowardly society on earth. We don't have time to take care of our infrastructure or grandma or education or health care or anything of importance...., we're too busy looking out for some imagined boogeyman from under our beds.

I'm sure that the finger-pointing by Ms McCarthy won't help keep the heat off her own organization:
