As for Bloomberg being the most qualified, maybe so but when was the last time a mayor was elected president?* Bloomberg won't win but he could seriously screw things up. I hope his ego allows him to see that.

*Answer: Calvin Coolidge and, between being a mayor and a president, he was a vice president and it took the death of his boss in 1923 to elevate him. I think the only other mayor to serve as President was Cleveland.

Bloomberg is an independent.
