Personally, I'm considerably farther left than the Democrats. I'm a registered Democrat because, until recently, California was a closed primary state. You had to be registered in the party whose primary you wanted to vote in and I sure as shit wasn't going to vote for the asshole Republicans they have out here or for any Republican presidential candidate that's come along since I was of voting age.

And Sanders is something other than a "lib". He's a Democratic So************************t, something most liberals are a bit uncomfortable with. If you want to stick an American label on Bernie, I suppose he's a "New Dealer". What he really wants to do is repair the damage that Republicans have done to FDR's programs and then continue making social progress. For me, that would be a good start.

And now for the Libertarians. They're just a bunch of freeloading candyasses who want to have access to everything the government provides like roads or the National Weather Service (to tell them to come in out of the rain) or an army to keep them safe from all those scary brown people but they don't want to pay for any of this and they don't want to be responsible members of a society where what I do affects you and what you do affects me. Really, Libertarians are just spoiled children in more or less grown up bodies.
