You're not even able to see that it doesn't matter in the slightest what the shooter's political or religious beliefs are. All that matters is that we live in a country where any nutcase with any assortment of beliefs and fantasies can get all the weapons he wants, usually legally, and then kill and kill and kill until he himself is killed. This is the world you gun nuts helped to create and which you fervently wish to preserve.
Yes.

BTW, while we have a witness that says he told people to state their religion, there is no report that he did or didn't shoot people depending on their answer.

I see Ike caught the point that -5 seems to think that someone simply being Chinese, African American or Latino automatically makes them a "Lib"..... LOL!

Every bit of data I see points to the fact that the gun lobby in this country is full of shit and has blood on it's hands because of it's rabid dogmatism.

The fact is that the 2nd Amendment as currently interpreted is a terrible idea that is NOT WORKING. Even if you eliminated the "mass shootings", the statistics would still bear this out.

The thing is this; The longer these people go on living in denial and flooding our society with these weapons, the uglier it's going to get, the uglier it gets the worse it's going to be when their worst nightmare comes true......

Self fulfilling prophecy.

I just hope I'm already in my grave when that happens.

Never mind. I'll Tell you. It's the repeal of the Assault Weapon Ban. The law was enacted in 1994 and immediately there was a drop in lethality. It stayed low too, except for 1999, and then shot up in 2004 and has been high pretty much ever since.

LOL, Mother Pucking Jones

Not the best choice of words.

Presidential Candidate Jeb Bush made an eyebrow-raising comment in the wake of the Oregon school massacre -- saying "stuff happens" in response to a discussion about gun violence.

Bush called the shooting in Oregon "very sad," but said he also had challenges that he faced during his tenure as governor of Florida.

"Look stuff happens, there's always a crisis and the impulse is always to do something and it's not always the right thing to do," Bush said at the Conservative Leadership Project in Greenville, South Carolina, referring to taking away rights.

The data from Mother Jones that I used is data, not opinion. It is dates and interger numbers. Mother Jones gives sources.

Facts are stubborn things; they don't go away because you add a mild vulgarity to a magazine name.

The source doesn't matter in this case. No matter where you look, the numbers are going to tell you that the 2nd Amendment as it is currently interpreted is burden to us and the direct cause of ~12,000 or more deaths in the United States on an annual basis.

Unless you refuse to see it because you don't want to, cognitive dissonance being what it is...........

That was hilarious. I think we need to just be quiet about McCarthy and sit back as that big mouthed moron runs his mouth and exposes all of their lies and manipulations.
