It makes me sad. This is no fun anymore. Millions and millions of Americans, American voters, are obviously living beyond of reality. It is almost too much for me. We are talking about the political future of the global village, and countless Americans think that the American presidency is nothing else but a private party.. with 50 bucks harlots dancing on the table...

You know for several years I have been predicting that Jeb Bush would be the Republican nominee.

I still think he's the most likely to get it, but I'm starting to think that Trump may very well have a real shot at it.

I am encouraged to read that among the general electorate, 59% hold an unfavorable view of Trump. Even 42% of Republicans don't like him.

He remains a loose canon who wields power through his right wing popularity and financial resources. He can if so motivated mess up the general election for Bush or whoever else the Republicans might nominate. But he's unelectable in a two-way race, or of course in a three way that splits the Republicans.

Now in a four-way race, things could get weird....
