But it doesn't help when you have a bunch of ignorant knuckle walkers whom, due to cheap tricks like Gerrymandering, are able to wield far more political power than their numbers warrant, and are Hell bent on not only stopping progress, but also undoing all the positive progress we have made in the past 100 years or so.
Well expressed and my sentiments also. I have always maintained that gerrymandering is what skews (screws too) our so called democracy. It's a duocracy.

So tell me what is your opinion Bob, do you support the harvest of so-called “intact specimens,” or organs, for sale?
Organs for sale, eh? Keep drinking that tea and it'll rot your guts and poison your mind, my friend.

We're talking women choosing to donate tissue for research purposes. This isn't organ harvesting for transplantation like we see in the third world to benefit first worlders who need a kidney or liver. The only monetization involved is recouping the costs associated with storing and transportation.

Don't believe everything you see and hear on YouTube, Jim.

If that's what it is, then what's the problem?

How is it any different from being an organ donor?

De-gerrymandering is working just fine here in the Golden State.

There's a big fight going on in Florida about this.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slate...stricting.html

Several years ago the PEOPLE voted in a constitutional amendment called the "Fair Districts" amendment.

But of course the Republican legislature didn't give a shit about that.

They went ahead and gerrymandered away anyway.

So now the Florida Supreme Court has ordered them to redraw the districts fairly this time.

I have no doubt that the fuckers will try to cheat again.

Quote:
On Thursday, the Florida Supreme Court struck down a congressional redistricting map drawn largely by the legislature's Republicans, ordering legislators to redraw as many as 22 districts. The court ruled that the legislature intentionally drew the map to favor GOP incumbents and disadvantage Democrats. In addition, the justices found that Republican legislators coordinated with consultants in order to draw more Republican-leaning districts. The court ordered the legislature to redraw the map on an expedited schedule with the oversight of a trial judge.

Here is a lie: 'Bernie Sanders is a Nazi.'

It is a lie, isn't it? But if I say it's a lie, the conversation has 'devolved?'

So National Revlew can print a lying attack piece, but if I call it that, I'm the one at fault for 'devolving the conversation?'

Not fair, Sir.

What do you suppose is the point of this hatchet job?

Oh come on--it's not as if we're 'dreaming of things that never were.' We mention Europe because they actually exist. The example is there. What man has done, man can aspire to!

But it's always 'too much too soon,' eh? Except when it's 'too far too fast....'
