You may be surprised by that. The Republicans have spent the last 6 years trying to disassociate themselves from W's legacy of needless war and economic catastrophe. If the "Bush name" has any influence at all, it'll be to drive voters away.

And then there's Jeb himself. The Tea Party won't like his position on immigration and he's getting squishier by the minute on gender equality. Then there are the younger voters who think they're "small-l libertarians". Jeb is too hawkish for them, is opposed to legalization of even medical marijuana and that squishiness on immigration reform won't help with them either... but for the opposite reasons.

Hillary has a ton of sleazy money & it isn't helping her one bit right now.

But we're talking about the Republican nomination.

I lived in South Florida for several years. If one can see what the Cubans did to Miami you will understand. Bush is an ex-governor who was/is very popular.

The Cuban immigrant community is Republican all the way. Always has been and always will be but the last couple of election cycles seem to suggest that their kids are trending Democratic.

On April 23, ABC News explained that their independent review of the source material used for Clinton Cash ‘uncovered errors in the book, including an instance where paid and unpaid speaking appearances were conflated.’ The book purports to reveal connections between Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, donations to the Clinton Foundation, and paid speeches given by the Clintons, but Schweizer reportedly admits in the book he cannot prove his allegations.

You might be surprised to know this is not the first time Schweizer, a right-wing mouthpiece for Breitbart, made up complete lies (many of which he had to retract):

He lied when he said Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) committed insider trading in 2011. When it was revealed there was no way the Whitehouse would have been in a position to partake in any insider trading, Schweizer retracted his statement.
Schweizer incorrectly claimed former Vice President Al Gore received over “$200,000 a year in royalties” from a zinc mine in Tennessee, thus “exposing” him as a hypocrite. Yeah, at the time of Schweizer’s reporting, the mine had been closed for years.
Schweizer pathetically attempted to go after President Obama when he reported that the president skipped “half” of his daily briefings. The Washington Post fact-checked Schweizer’s claims and found them to be “bogus.”
He falsely accused another Democratic member of Congress of insider trading, this time Congressman Jim McDermott of Washington in a bio-terrorism bill.

And now he admits he embellished the truth of how much Hillary Clinton made in a book, about how much Hillary Clinton made. You can’t make this stuff up. What else would you expect from the Breitbart senior editor-at-large, former Hoover Institution think-tank, and president of the right-wing Government Accountability Institute?

And the ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ strikes again. The author of the upcoming “Clinton Cash” lied about how much money Hillary Clinton made, and he admits to it. If you’re going to write a book on how much money Hillary Clinton makes, it might be a good idea not to lie about the amount.
