Zion has a weird history. It was originally founded as a "Christian" community by a Christian Apostolic minister named John Alexander Dowie. When I was a kid, my grandfather was a salesman for The Chamberlain Company, selling them newfangled metal storm and screen doors after he lost all his money in the depression. One of his favorite traveling salesman stories was about driving around Zion one day looking for business and being arrested for smoking a cigar within the town limits.

As far as I'm concerned, it's still a pretty weird town.

Anybody can get one easily at a Gun shows, at least in Florida.

Just go to a so called "private collectors" table and pay in cash, you don't need no background check, no ID, no waiting period, no nuthin. It's the good old "Gunshow loophole".
