It's also worth noting that Daesh is busily killing other Muslims right now.

Point taken and a valid argument destroyed by overstatement.

How do folks often respond when they feel hated?
Today I heard a statement from the Imam of Paris. He unequivocally stated that Muslims recuse themselves from approval or support of terrorists. Is that fucking powerful...or what? I say....WHAT??????

Where TF is the outrage after a half century of this bullshit? This is the strongest condemnation we get from the leadership of the Muslim community? They don't support terrorists? That's it? What I want is for just one mainstream Muslim leader to come out and demand that these perps be hunted down and shot down like the rabid dogs they are. That these scum be hunted down and shot to ribbons like Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

And while we're at it...that the subhuman ISIL scum, every single goddamned last one of them, be bombed and blown to shreds for their crimes against humanity. Just one Muslim leader who will go retrieve his balls from his other pants and express a smidgen of fucking outrage after 5 decades of this murder and mayhem. Because I haven't heard anything close out of anybody.

'I recuse myself' strikes me as a preferable alternative to calling them "subhuman scum." I think the later puts you a lot closer to ISIL-think that you should want to go.

So the Islamic world is practicing political correctness?
See no terrorists, see no terrorism. We are a religion of peace.
Now where have we heard this line before? Soon after the 9/11 attacks this statement was parroted non stop with little to no conviction. And here we are 13 years later and what has changed?

Youngest Suspect in Charlie Hebdo Attack Turns Himself In, 2 Others Sought

A Very good development. I hope he talks and the world gets to find out who ordered this attack and from where. In most instances the terrorists do not survive and hope the French authorities get the other two killers.

Over time the names and places change, but given our nature the storyline remains the same.

It's a specious argument, John, and you know it. The Charedim and Lubavitchers are the ultra-orthodoxy and tend to treat women like chattel.

The diminishment of women is rampant through all levels of Islam. Muslim women who are brave enough to speak out have openly talked about problems with the Quran that allow for this. I have several Pakistani colleagues...physician, engineer, a physicist. They're dismissive toward their wives. It's just my little anecdotal evidence, but it's there. And it's not just the "ultra-orthodox".

It's fifty years of this bullshit don. It's long past time for a hint of outrage coming out of the mainstream Muslim community. As far as your "ISIL-think" comment is concerned, you can attempt to insult me any fucking way you like don...in the grand scheme of things it matters not one goddamn whit to me.
