Zeke you remind me of a person that keeps saying "I am out of here", yet is still around after the party is over and everyone has gone home. This is far from over, it's not an incident but a movement. Squash it and it will blow up or the crazies come out of the woodwork. Neither is good for a civilized society, discourse is even if you don't like what you are hearing.

OK. 'Hands Up Don't Shoot' bugs me a little. Those who repeat it now with cynical false certainty are reprehensible. But at the beginning, it was Johnson's narrative, it was unchallenged for days as the authorities dithered, connived, and stonewalled, and there is no dark mendacity implied by the fact that it went viral.
And just what happened when, after Brown departed the SUV, has not been resolved yet. There should have been a real trial, not a fake one with a grand jury.

I've never heard that meme.

It was one of the first challenges, from the right, to the free-running Johnson narrative. It was totally made-up, but at least it was something to grasp for those on the right who really needed something to grasp.

Movements move only so far then die. That's why they're called "movements."
There was never anything here and, if there was, the opportunity was three months ago.
What is required is a revolution, one where law abiding types say "I'm not going to apologize because an unlawful assailant is dead." And the sort of incredibly weak whining currently being attempted by those who desire to keep the original incident alive are causing it to happen.
And it won't be backlash, it will be necessary.
Brown earned his result as will those who continue to support his narrative.

If you want to know what weak arguments actually are, read you own posts. All assertion and bluster and word magic, ie, ~it won't be backlash because I don't want that word used for it.~
Oh, and what's this:

A threat, now? When you said revolution, just what did you have in mind? Looking for the day when you can put all the entitled subhumans in their place?

It was on all the nutter sites:

I'm still not sure how anyone can make declarative statements about whether or not this shooting was justified when there was no trial. People in their right minds should be very angry about the way this happened. This is a total bastardization of our system of justice and we, the people, deserve better.

Why is it more important for you to think of Darren Wilson as blameless than it is for you to see our legal system work properly?
