Because pretending to know what it's like to be black in America isn't even remotely close to actually being black in America."

The only "execution" in Ferguson was of a good cop's career.
Actually, Wilson's job performance was judged to be "average, but never went above and beyond" while working for Jennings.

And here is another, from his post commander...All the problems became too much for the city council to bear, and in March 2011 the council voted 6-to-1 to shut down the department and hire St. Louis County to run its police services, putting Lt. Jeff Fuesting in charge as commander.

Fuesting, who overlapped for about four months with Wilson during a transitional period, described him as “an average officer.”

“My impression is he didn’t go above and beyond, and he didn’t get in any trouble,” Fuesting said.

He also worked for four months in the ward that included Southwinds and Canfield, and like all Canfield residents, knew Big Mike. It is always difficult to not recognize someone who stands 6'5" in shoes and weighs almost 300 pounds. Maybe Wilson managed to do so...

But for the grace of God, none of us are street cops in the mean streets of some American cities. Any of us could have been Darren Wilson had we had the inclination to be a cop around Ferguson.
You make it sound like the Green Zone.

The per capita number of Americans killed in the Green Zone was probably less than the worse of America's inner cities. Washington DC's mayhem peaked in the '90's with 479 murders one year in a population of about 600,000. It's about 100/yr now.

Check out these numbers for Detroit in 2013. I doubt the Green Zone had remotely as much violence inside its walls.

Murder and non-negligent manslaughter rate per 100,000 people: 45

Total murders and non-negligent manslaughters: 316

Violent crime rate per 100,000 people: 2,072

Total violent crimes: 14,504

Population: 699,889
