Like a puzzle, one has to look at all the pieces and how they fit together to see the big picture.

As far as the evidence.... Eye witness accounts are probably the least reliable evidence they have.
People have been getting put away on eyewitness accounts for years. I think forensic evidence is not going to play a huge role since everyone knows what killed Brown.

That is the "cruks"of the whole situation. The alleged suspect in the homicide is on the team that enforces the law and works with the D.A. and the criminal justice system to bring people who break the law to trial. In fact it is most likely that Wilson himself knows some of the grand jurors (or they themselves have acted on evidence presented by Wilson to decide on probable cause in other cases in the recent past).

Now Wilson is who they are deciding on to prosecute or not.

My gut feeling is that the county and the local PD thought this thing was going to blow over just on what Wilson was planning on telling them. Except there are witnesses this time that seem to be telling a different story than their man.

If he is indicted the same system that was going to sort of provide a bulwark for him will the one tasked with putting him away. Who watches the watchmen indeed.

Funny--he didn't say 'police officer,' he said 'killer.'

No shit, Sherlock. The same is true in any and all legal proceedings (any person who may be implicated/indicted in a crime hopes for the best).

It's the job of the grand and petit juries to decide who is credible and who isn't.

Dick Tracy wore an extremely cool two-way wrist radio and he wasn't a patrolman.

You don't know the color of your profile's (1245) hat.

He has grey hair and is a Lt. (bars on collar). That means he has done this a long time and vests conspicuously add twenty pounds of perceived girth.

This car is more of a command center than pursuit vehicle...
