Did you actually read and understand the quote?
It's San Mateo Pidgin English.

He wasn't shot for "stealing cigars." He was shot for assaulting a police officer. Hell, beyond being appropriately used to initiate contact, the cigars are irrelevant.

Cop had the gun, the perp did not. Should not have risen to this level of confrontation. I am not commenting to the cops actions after the fact, still waiting for the full investigation, hopefully with the Feds in charge.

It was an ironic response to an ironic post, as I might assume is yours.

Absolutely, equal parts of friendly arguments and humor.
But if you get back into referencing certain select posts .......

It's so ironic you would say that.

Respectfully, the first sentence is not in question. The second sentence is Utopian. The third sentence was redacted because we already know what we need to know: the officer was in fear for his life by -- at the very least -- a 300 lbs thug going for him in his car. That's a very solid justification for the professional use of deadly force.
I'm looking forward to the toxicology report on the deceased.

I think Zeke and I have been the only ones that have brought up the need of a cop to protect his weapon ie: GUN.
They are trained to use deadly force not to ever let that happen. So if you're in hand to hand combat and in a struggle he can not get knocked out, overpowered or anything that he can lose his gun. Killing the aggressor is fair game for a cop in any court of law and will not be prosecuted.

I've discussed thug. Where does the 300 lb. figure come from anyway? It just started appearing (with thug). The things people can believe just because it's fits what they want to think....
Speaking of wanting, is 'looking forward' to the toxicology report the stance of an unbiased observer?
