If they leave Mickey Dees they would find themselves on the streets.

I never owned a Flag so I guess it's not an issue.
However I have instructed my kids to make sure that when I croak they get the one that I am entitled to as a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
I do not want to go to my grave having left any of my government entitlements on the table.

I never heard of that one.
They couldn't do that for everybody.
There's too many veterans for that.
That's probably something you only get if you do something like save a bunch of your buddies by throwing yourself on a grenade.

Any veteran, anywhere, any date of death. But it's just a little GI headstone....

I think you are entitled for one since you were honorably discharged ( )
check with your local VA office for details
I can be buried out in Riverside but its pretty hot out there lol.
If you request it they will bury your ashes at sea....they did it on the Abraham Lincoln all the time, usually right after reveille on the fan tail with an honor guard....maybe that is what I will ask for. Haze gray and underway for eternity lol.

Per the government website linked-to above, you can get a headstone or bronze marker, inscribed 'in Memory of' at top, but it has to be for placement in a recognized cemetery. So you'd have to buy a plot or niche to put it on.
