One other point for you Dan, SoCal has all the water rights we need for now. It's called having an overwhelming majority of voters and representatives in the statehouse in Sacramento. You really have some grande huevos calling anyone ignorant other than yourself. Do some research for once before talking out of your ass.

Water rights, my ass.

It's the demographics. I suspect the boundaries of at least 2 or 3 of these new states would look like an Illinois Congressional district after the white folks managed to get as many black folks into one "state" as possible, and as many Latino folks into another. Or if not ethnic demographics, then financial demographics, rich folks in one (sorta like a terra-based "Elysium"), and poor folks in the other 5.

Here's a model...Illinois 4.

We have a bunch of crazy GOPers that want to split up Maryland and make a new state out of the Western half, which of course would have no tax base.

Just how much of Norther California is under Federal ownership, you know everyone in the US? So water would be a Federal one maybe. Big govmint stepping in and wanting tax dollars is what this all about. What would the state of jefferson expect the next time a fire, flood or eruption occurs? Just a big outstretched hand wanting money fast!

Come on now Barney still twitching from vitamin A. look at a map it may help you grasp what you just stated as ignorant. Can you grasp it now and see that dump of wasteland where Bobby lives? The truth is that part of California only exists because of support from northern and central Cal. Hell we could even give Mexico the bottom third of the state back. You can't make movies if you can't sustain life.

After this post, it is an excellent time for you to become a missing person.

That is total insanity. How in the world did we ever get to this? (He asked rhetorically.)

Yep I drink it every day, and if the state was dived up what ever state Hetch Hetchey falls in would earn money from it.

Sacramento would not exist Bobby in a hypothetical division of the state. Each state would have their own governance so you can wipe your ass with this post.

SoCal is a desert and the only reason it has the population it does is because of water from NorCal. Got it.

Like I said we should just give it back to Mexico it's wasteland.

Good point I'm burnt out with the fires from people that want to live in a wasteland desert and exspect everyone to put them out.

Barney where do 99.9% of wild fire happen in Cal?

At the end of day it will never happen. Just like Texas Alaska wanting to secede. Nothing there but hot air and hate.

In what universe will this ever be allowed to happen? Just a way for a group to get together and grip about ""others"" taking from them. One would be just fooling themselves into thinking an area with less votes then one county in another part of the state could ever win. No state will give up water rights already owned fool!

Keep eatin your pepperoni hot pockets and drinking your Yoo'hoo's typing typing away. Waste another day showing your hate for another who have the gall to ""question you!!""

At least open a window shade. Look outside a big wide world outside to experience.

Dude you need to relax some.

Me I'm going to get out and enjoy the beautiful day. See the Grandsons and tickle the wife later.
