Why Obama would make such a poor decision is anyone's guess.

Oh let it go BH the woman said what she was told by people who were supposed to know.
God every morning when I get up I thank God that I am not a woman in the US of A.

You are correct sir. This is the best post yet on the subject.

I need to say one more thing about this. The whole situation with detention at GITMO and other locations is an utter black mark on this country. Seven convictions of detainees at GITMO in 13 years. They weren't POW's. And they may not have even been criminals. One of these 5 guys has been rotting in GITMO for 12 years, because the CIA said he was "dangerous." Tell ya what...if I didn't want to take down an airliner or blow up a building in this country at first...I'd certainly want to after sitting in prison for 12 years with no hope of ever getting out, or even ever going to trial.
I'd want to blow up every goddamn American I could.

I know if one of my friends or relatives were hurt in the attempt to find him. I would want him to be back in the USA and justice dished out if need be.

POW's sure. Giving up individuals wanted by the UN for alleged war crimes to do so? Maybe not.

A study just came out that showed hurricanes named a female name kills more than a male named one
I can see the pro-arguments for the swap, but I sure hope it doesn't cause long term problems. There's reasons one shouldn't negotiate with terrorists.
