The emphasis on the nationalities of the alleged perpetrator, and the victim, in the title of this thread, is evidence of tribal instincts at work.

Quite understandable, and not a virulent expression as such things go. I hasten to add that I know the author to basically be an admirable fellow, a man of solid rationality and an abundance of good will. Nonetheless, we see here a bit of tribalism.
