Apparently, Mississippi is the state where the Tea Party has the greatest chance of bumping off an establishment Republican in their upcoming primary.
The irony is that the anti-tax Tea Party has its best chance in a state where
46% of the state budget comes from the federal government . Consider:
2007-2009 Federal taxes paid, avg.: $11.06 billion
2007-2009 Federal funding received, avg.: $31.27 billion
2007-2009 Amount received per tax dollar paid, avg.: $2.83
I guess it helps that Mississippi has the worst schools in the country.

They seem willing to cut off their nose to spite their face.
