I saw that interview. What "lies"? You mean he didn't say what your sources tell you? That's not a necessarily a lie on his part, it just contradicts the people you listen to. Maybe they're full of shit too?

Ever think of that?

To get back on topic we have heard from our Son and apparently, though his doctors said he could resume light exercise he overdid it at the company gym. Rushed him to the Ottawa Heart Institue (Noted for work on the Jarvik Heart) where they shocked him back to normal (It had been running at 250BPM.)

They have run a whole battery of tests on him and so far only found some bits during the Electrophisiological Study which they cauterized. Now all that remains is to do an angiogram on Tuesday - apparently the 17th is now a holiday up north. So there you have that terrible soci@list system and the joy of it is that it is not costing him a dime. The outcome of the angiogram could mean nothing need be done, insert a stent or open heart surgery. We know what we are praying for.

I had a stent installed this pass summer. Went in through my right wrist of all places. Guess it went alright. Don't really feel any better but I'm still here. Doc said I could drink in moderation. "That's no fun" I told him so off the Bourbon and beer since.

Prayers and well wishes going your way. You going up North?

So your son had a heart attack?
Then had complication exerting himself, exercising to get healthy and strong.
Im sorry to hear that. Well it's good that they were able to revive and get him to treatment. You said a few days ago that growing old isn't for wimps and this is a case for it. Stay Strong!!!

Heart issues run rampant in my immediate family with sixteen open heart surgeries between the nine of us. It's a hereditary condition from my mothers side. Hoping for your sons speedy recovery and return to health!

I must say merrylander now you have me thinking of my Dad. He retired young at 56 and moved to the country. Around 58 he found out he had a bit of a heart issue so he decided to get healthy. One morning he went to the small towns gym and was using the stationary bike.

He had a massive heart attack that day and left us.

So tell your son this is a case where more is not better and slow recovery would be the goal.

Our Son who turned 48 last November ran marathons, was always fit but the stress that bitch put him through in the divorce brought on Atrial Fibrillation.

The simple point I was trying to get through a few thick heads around here is that SinglePayer works, that the care under it matches the best that the world has to offer.
