Sure ACA is a screw-up, when have you people ever done anything halfway intelligent about healthcare? Every other industrialized nation does it better at half the price, so what other conclusion can we draw?

Thank-you gents. That's my point. Now...when it's finally poor people getting the coverage they should have had for 45 years...now...when it's at the hand of the Kenyan anti-colonialist...now it's an outrage. Where was the high premium cost whining...the forced plan change blubbering...the "forced to change my doctor" bleating over the last 4 decades? Nobody flew into a bigger rage than me when Obama abandoned the public option. Nobody was more pissed off than me that when he had the opportunity he didn't even stick a toe in the single payer waters. The health care system in this country should have never been employment related, it should never have been insurance industry related, and no aspect of it should ever have been for-profit.
But I support it because... 1.everybody has the opportunity for coverage, and 2. no pre-existings. And I support it because there isn't one Republican politician, one social conservative, or one fucking political forum right wing hardcase I've heard from who has had word one to say about how their alternative to the ACA is going to provide for those two issue that have been a disgrace for over 4 decades.
But in answer to whell's question of what would I do if I were a small business owner? I'd do what they do. I wouldn't provide full-time employment to anybody but those in the most essential positions. If you want a job, you work part-time. Our noble, socially minded entrepreneurs and business executives have been doing it for decades...why would anybody expect it to be any different now?
